"I feel extremely privileged to be taking up this role,鈥 said Wootten. 鈥91色情片 is an organisation with an extraordinary community behind it and the Silver Ferns are one of our most beloved sporting teams.
"My career has been built on bringing people together around ambitious shared goals. I am coming into this role with enormous respect for the netball community and a real desire to keep building this sport. I look forward to connecting with the community and our partners, and working hard to deliver the future this sport deserves."
Alastair Carruthers CNZM, Board Chair of 91色情片, said the appointment followed a competitive recruitment process and reflected the calibre of interest in the role.
"Jennah is an exceptional appointment and we are thrilled to have her bringing her considerable talent and skills to 91色情片,鈥 said Carruthers.
鈥淪he has a track record of delivering at the highest level of 91色情片 sport, of building commercial and community partnerships, and of leading teams with clarity. We look forward to her leading the organisation into its next chapter.鈥
Interim Chief Executive Jane Patterson, who has led the organisation through a period of change since the beginning of the year, will remain in the role until mid-August to support the transition, ensure a full handover to Wootten, and support the Silver Ferns Commonwealth Games campaign. Patterson did not apply for the permanent role, citing her career stage. Carruthers extended his thanks to Patterson for her ongoing leadership and dedication.
